Meisuke Nueno, better known as Nube, is an exorcist who also happens to be the teacher for a 5th grade class at Domori Elementary. While he uses many various exorcism techniques, his main weapon is the Demon Hand (Oni no Te) which is the power of a chaotic oni sealed right where his left hand should be. Although long battles and emotional development began to unfold, after the end of these battles, the series would return to its gag style, switching back to the fighting manga style with each new battle.
