AEUG Ensign Reccoa Londe tipped off Lieutenant Quattro (known as Char Aznable) and his team, including Lieutenant JGs Apolly and Roberto, about potential mobile suit development occurring in the Green Noa civilian colonies. The team heads to Green Noa to investigate. Meanwhile, Kamille Bidan rushes to the spaceport at Green Noa 1 in the hope of getting an autograph from famed Captain Bright Noa, who is on duty. Jerid and his companions interrupt and taunt Bright about his recent two rank demotion for refusing to join the Titans. Jerid grabs Kamille's photo and tries to force Bright to sign it as an elite member of the Federation. A brawl erupts, and Kamille is taken into custody for questioning by Matosh. After confirming Kamille's story, he is released from captivity just as the Gundam MK-II violently crashes into the building.

The Earth was left behind by humanity in order to preserve it and now, they reside in a massive circular edifice that hangs 35 kilometers above the planet. One's position here determines their social status; the higher the floor, the greater the prestige. Mitsu is a young man who just graduated junior high school, and his father used to work as a window cleaner. However, Mitsu is forced to take over his father's job when he goes missing and is believed dead. Through this new occupation, Mitsu gains a distinct viewpoint on the living conditions in the Saturn Apartments.

In no time, Asumi befriends a cadre of classmates, including her childhood friend Shinnosuke Fuchuuya, who sports spectacles and harbors a staunch brutal honesty, Kei Oumi, a cordial young woman who drew inspiration from Neil Armstrong's photos of the moon landing, Marika Ukita, an enigmatic and stunningly gorgeous girl with a few secrets of her own, and Shuu Suzuki, a bold and bright boy who maintains a laidback approach. The setting of Futatsu no Spica is an alternative future in which Japan's maiden human-crafted spacecraft crashed in 2010, and it follows the growth of these high schoolers as they travel toward the stars.

An alternative version of the Lost World

In the future, a vast starfaring society has been established by humanity. However, the community is suffering from melancholy and monotony as they are continuously conquered and dominated by an aggressor. To fight against this widespread apathy, Herlock decides to take initiative and rally a group of rebels aboard his spacecraft, Arcadia, to launch daring attacks on those who oppress Earth. The invaders include the Mazone, a species of organic, plant-like women who had visited Earth in the distant past and have come back to claim it as their own.

Commander Char Aznable, an ace pilot for Zeon, believed he could thwart the Federation's mobile suit construction by assaulting their research base located on colony Side 7. Unfortunately, he miscalculated. The Federation already had a functioning prototype, which they utilized to counterattack and wreak havoc. In the midst of the chaos, Amuro Ray, a skilled electronics expert, is steadfast in his resolve to prevent his loved ones from perishing due to the conflict. Nevertheless, how can a lone boy fend off invaders equipped with mobile suits?

The manga is set in A.S. 106, five years after the Vanadis incident, and focuses on a witch named Vilda Miren and a pilot named Kiyu Lavot, who pilots the XGF-01[II3] Gundam Lfrith Jiu.

U.C. 0097, one year after the opening of "Laplace's Box." Despite the revelation of the Universal Century Charter that acknowledges the existence and rights of Newtypes, the framework of the world has not been greatly altered. The conflict later dubbed the "Laplace Incident" is thought to have ended with the downfall of the Neo Zeon remnants known as the Sleeves. In its final battle, two full psycho-frame mobile suits displayed power beyond human understanding. The white unicorn and the black lion were sealed away to remove this danger from people's consciousness, and they should now be completely forgotten. Many moons ago, Earth was pelted by six meteorites resulting in the creation of six moons, and only one island remained. Those who were unable to reach the island sunk to the ocean floor, where they gradually transformed into crystals over countless ages. Twenty-eight of these crystallized beings, known as the Lustrous, materialized from the depths and established a dwelling on the island. Guided by the wise Kongou-sensei, they were obligated to protect themselves from the infinite number of Lunarians residing on the moons, with the intention of harvesting their precious bodies to craft jewelry and weapons. The story revolves around Phosphophyllite, a young gem on the verge of turning three hundred years old. They're awkward, incredibly frail, and seem to have no discernible abilities, making them one of the weakest gems in existence. As their struggle against the otherworldly invaders intensifies, they learn that every power has a price, and no one should have to pay such a cost.

The Calamity War engulfed the entirety of Earth and required the deployment of Gundams to terminate the chaos. However, as time passed, some of these machines were hidden away while others were left to decay. Argie Mirage bears the weight of his kin's demise, resulting from a Gundam's actions, and Volco Warren is determined to revive his family's abandoned Gundam. Their fates intertwine as one aims to eradicate a Gundam while the other yearns to resurrect it. In the midst of this, the Astaroth mecha stirs from its 300-year slumber.
