Urano Motosu, a university student with a passion for reading, made a fervent plea to God before she passed away. "May I continue to read books even if I am reincarnated," she had hoped. Urano was so devoted to books that she had planned to become a librarian. However, a tragic earthquake had ended her life and dashed her aspirations. Fate had other plans for Urano. She was reincarnated as a feeble young girl named Maine, in a peculiar medieval town where people had bizarrely tinted hair. Although Maine was captivated by the uniqueness of her surroundings, she was upset by her family's limited financial resources and her own frailty. Moreover, the state of literacy in the city was poor, and books were scarce and expensive. Despite the hurdles, Maine resolved to pursue her lifelong passion for books and make her own. And so began the tale of a bookworm's journey to create her very own treasure-trove of books.
