In Japan, the night life industry, also known as Mizushoubai or "water business", encompasses various forms of entertainment, including fuuzoku (commonly referred to as prostitution, but without the illegal aspects), hosting and managing at bars, and nightclubs such as kyabakura. Recently, a new high school was established in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward to provide education to young individuals who were previously without guidance in this industry. The School of Water Business, known as "Mizushou", is the first of its kind. This story is told from the perspective of a teacher named Tanabe Keisuke who was transferred to Mizushou to help educate its inaugural class of students.

George Mallory and Andrew Irvine attempted to become the first to summit Mount Everest in 1924 but disappeared during their final ascent. The mystery of whether they reached the top remained unsolved for decades. Fast forward to 1993, when Makoto Fukamichi, a Japanese photographer, discovers an old camera in an antique store in Kathmandu. He believes the camera may have belonged to Mallory but later finds out it landed in the hands of "Bikha Sanp," who could be Jouji Habu, a famous mountaineer who vanished years ago. Determined to investigate Habu's connection to Nepal, Fukamichi sets out to uncover the truth and potentially rewrite mountaineering history by reaching the summit of the gods.

The anime's prequel narrates the tale of Nishizumi Miho, who met her friends during elementary school and started riding tanks together. However, it also highlights the moment when she decided to steer clear of tanks.

Kazuichi's enthusiasm for collecting guns, despite the ban on gun ownership in his country, leads to his imprisonment for violating arms-bearing laws. He continues his hobby in secret but must always be wary of potential consequences. Sadly, Kazuichi's fears became a reality when he was taken into custody, and his brutal experiences during captivity are chronicled.

Based off the popular Japanese PSP game, Photo Kano is about a boy, his interest in photography, and the harem that grows out of it.
