After the mysterious death of Hwarang’s president, Oh Jae-Yeol, the criminal organization was plunged into turmoil as factions within it fought for control. This power vacuum was quickly exploited by the black society, who moved in to take over from the weakened Hwarang, leading to widespread chaos.
