An illustrated beginner's guide, I'm Enough uses manga and illustrations to make self-acceptance and the topic of Interpersonal Psychotherapy accessible to all readers. Cartoonist Tenten Hosokawa is the self-proclaimed "Queen of Negative Thoughts." One day she visits a psychiatrist, Dr. Hiroko Mizushima, and begins a journey of self-discovery. Through the lens of personal experience, Hosokawa uses comics to illustrate her path to self-acceptance.
The manga centers around Ginjirou Manda, a loan shark business man who is affiliated with many Yakuza gangs in Osaka. He charges an interest rate called toichi—10% more interest every 10 days, or 365% every year.
