In the year 2063, humanity dominates the vast reaches of the universe. A collection of eager students, accompanied by a child, from Caird High School, set out on an expedition to MCPA, a far-off planet situated nine light-years away. Two of the participants in the group are Kanata Hoshijima, a bold and physically-fit individual, and the lovable Aries Spring. Their escapade is quickly transformed into a nerve-racking experience as a strange, luminous sphere pursues and captures them upon their arrival on MCPA. The orb transports the students to a hazardous region of space, which is approximately 5,012 light-years from safety.
