Seikimatsu Tantei Kurabu is dedicated to the very gay and very passionate love of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. I suppose that it could even be called a doujinshi, since it's blatantly based on Conan Doyle's work, and many of his characters make appearances throughout the story. In fact, the main story is split into three sub-stories -- each one focusing on a different aspect of the Holmes/Watson relationship. The first story is titled Paris Fin de Siècle, and is a light-hearted introduction to our protagonists. There's a little fluff, a little humor, a sardonic reunion with Arsène Lupin, and a sexually charged scene of boot-licking. (Actual boot-licking. Not the metaphorical kind!) There are also fabulous kisses, cross-dressing criminals and unusual confessions. No smut so far, though. That comes later on. Oh, yes. The last two stories are based on actual Conan Doyle plots. The second story is based on and named after The Adventure of the Three Garridebs, and the third is similarly inspired by A Scandal in Bohemia. It's wonderful to see Conan Doyle re-interpreted through a yaoi mangaka's eyes! It's particularly rewarding to see Holmes undergo a paradigm shift after Watson is shot in The Three Garridebs; Holmes realizes that he can't take the good doctor for granted anymore, and that his old friend has become so much more than a friend to him.

When classmate Shiba Youichi comes in and confesses that he's in love with his classmate, Kamiya, the priest substitute can't resist seeing how far Shiba will go for forgiveness... Warning: Dirty things happen in a church, and with religious objects. Also, the author doesn't know much about Catholicism. 5)Educational Affections
The very first manga by Asuka Katsura, who's worked on the Le Portrait de Petit Cossette manga and Blood+. Bolt and Lantern is an original oneshot set in 19th century england. Coco is a young girl who, due to the recent deaths of both her parents, has inherited the aristocratic title of "marquise" and the expectations that go along with it. A new tutor named Nidell is brought in to teach Coco all the languages that nobility are required to be fluent in, and quickly finds himself facing a past he's tried to hide and becoming more like a father-figure to Coco than a tutor. Bolt and Lantern's art is both cute and detailed at the same time, and is a must read for any fan of 19th century clothing! Or cute little girls and dashing young men. And a pretty, big-boobed maid later on, as well as an arrogant little boy. Fun ensues!

SERIES 7: Steel Ball Run This is basically just another story arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure except that it has a different title. It is the seventh installment in the JoJo saga and takes place in the wild west in 1890 (about the same time period as the first arc of JoJo).
